AQUANIL DWO is petroleum solvent-based Dewatering oil, which also acts as excellent rust preventive, by deposition of a thin film of rust preventive on the treated components. AQUANIL DWO is Light Brown to Amber, Slight viscous, volatile, non-toxic, non-corrosive liquid & has a sp. gr of 0.82 + / -0.02. Its Oil Absorption value is nearly 30 to 35%.Water Displacement Excellent. Our Vacuum Dewatering Oil is Non Drying and applied by Dipping / Spray. The resultant film Thickness is 0.5 to 1 micron .it passes 72 Hours Salt Spray Test. AQUANIL DWO has a Coverage of 200 -250 Ft. Sq: per liter by brushing .It can be removed by swabbing with thinners.
AQUANIL DWO can be used for Fabricated ferrous & Non Ferrous metal components , viz , Aluminium , Aluminium alloys , Copper , Brass , Monel Metals , Mild Steel & Stainless Steel. AQUANIL DWO acts as an excellent Rust Preventive for all “ Work in progress “ components ; Metallic parts awaiting for machining , Fabrication and Assembly in an engineering shop & need corrosion protection during transit & storage . It is excellent for rust prevention in components after Heat treatment, Annealing, electroplating & such other metal forming / Metal working processes. AQUANIL DWO can be used on all Pickled, Phosphated; Blackodised, & Electroplated components preferably by dipping method. Especially it is recommended for Metals pickled in Hydrochloric Acid baths (which are prone to rusting). The treated components now acquire 2- 3 months of indoor rust protection. Dry & Wet Film Type Rust Preventives
Rust Preventive-WF & Rust Preventive- DF : These are Excellent RUST PREVENTIVES Drying and Non-Drying type. These Rust Preventives contain Fatty Oil derivatives , Wetting agents, Organic solvents film leveling agents , dryers and special types of corrosion inhibitors. Application of Rust Preventives can be conveniently carried out by Brushing / Swabbing, By Dipping & by Spraying. The film will offer excellent protection against atmospheric corrosion for a period of 3 - 6 months indoors & for a period of 2-3 months outdoors , while the components are stores in a covered shed . This rust preventive coating can be easily removed by using kerosene, Mineral turpentine or GP Thinner / Stoving thinner. Rust Preventive - WF & Rust Preventive - DF are Brownish to Black Liquid having a Sp Gr of 1.04 +/- 0.02 at 25 0C and are flammable , non-hazardous , non-toxic. The Shelf Life is Two Years from the date of Supply.
